2006 Impact 100 Owensboro Board Members attend National Training
Owensboro, KY
– President Martha Clark, Secretary Marianne Smith-Edge and Public Relations
Chair, Sara Hemingway represented Impact 100 Owensboro at the conference
“Impact: Success though Sharing” in Austin, Texas, September 22 and 23rd,
2006. The groups from Austin, Cincinnati, Owensboro, Indianapolis, San Antonio,
Pensacola Bay and Oklahoma City met to share best practices and also celebrate
their successes.
Conference sessions included workshops on
Operations, Governance, Communications, Grants, Membership and Growth. Guest
speakers were Wendy Hermann Steele, Founder and Immediate Past President of
Impact 100 Cincinnati and Colleen Willoughby, founder and President of the
Washington Women’s Foundation.
